On Monday morning, September 13, 1971, an uprising by prison inmates of the Attica Correctional Facility, a maximum security prison located in western New York, ended in the bloodiest prison confrontation in American history. Five days earlier, thirteen hundred prisoners had rebelled, taken over the prison, and held forty guards hostage. Issuing a list of demands—including calls for improvements in living conditions as well as educational and training opportunities—they entered into negotiations with state officials. The negotiations failed and state police and national guard troops seized the prison; in the course of taking it over they killed forty-three individuals, including ten hostages.

“3 to 4x October”
is a film written directed, and co-starring filmmaker Takeshi Kitano. The plot follows ‘a shiftless, inattentive young man, a member of a losing local baseball team, whose coach is threatened and attacked by a local yakuza. He teams up with a friend to go to Okinawa to purchase guns so they can get revenge. Kitano plays psychotic yakuza named Uehara, who befriends them upon their arrival in Okinawa. Uehara has his own agenda of revenge, and as the story progresses the two boys drift further into his orbit, with unsettling results.’ Boiling point is also the first track on Society System Decontrol’s “The Kids Will Have Their Say” album. Rebirth & revenge.
II. [THE KIDS WILL HAVE THEIR SAY]
’SS Decontrol (aka Society System Decontrol) led the charge of Boston HC bands that blew up close on the heels of the DC scene. Their take on hardcore and the new straight edge ideology was extremely aggressive, and would change the way punk was played forever. Comprised of guitarist Al Barile, vocalist David Spring (“Springa”), bassist Jamie Sciarappa, and drummer Chris Foley, they were one of the first Boston hardcore bands and the core of the infamous “Boston Crew.” The X-Claim pressings both ‘The Kids Will Have Their Say’ & ‘Get it away’ are both highly collectable.’ -KFTH

Caesar attempted to get away, but, blinded by blood, he tripped and fell; the men continued stabbing him as he lay defenceless on the lower steps of the portico, around 60 or more men participated in the assassination. He was stabbed 23 times.
